I joined Zite to be their Lead Designer and participate in a complete re-thinking of the product. At the core of the redesign was content discovery. We thought deeply about how to illuminate and recommend new, and related topics of interest in an unobtrusive and relevant manner. Many of the features we designed have been echoed in the news reader / personal magazine space ever since.
